Bed bugs are parasites that typically feeds on blood during the night while the host is asleep. These bugs are hitchhikers, and spread as people continue to travel and move about. They can hide in the tiniest crevices and are usually picked up by people through suitcases, clothing, boxes, furniture and other places. Bed bugs do not discriminate, and can be found in a wide variety of settings, from motels to five star hotels. They can even be found in buses, movie theaters and restaurants. 

 

Bed bug infestations are difficult to eliminate. 'Do it yourself' treatment methods rarely completely eradicate the problem, and it is strongly recommended that these infestations are treated by trained pest control professionals.
